How We Operate

Remember The XIth is a Community Interest Company (CIC) registered number 17067647 and regulated by The Office of the Regulator of Community Interest Companies.

Our members are closely connected with The 11th Parachute Battalion that existed from 1943-1944 during World War 2. However, they performed a vital role during this short period, principally in The Battle of Arnhem in September 1944, where the battalion suffered such heavy losses it was disbanded in November 1944 and its members were redeployed to other units.

Any funds raised through this section of the Remember The XIth website will be used exclusively for the purpose of honouring the memory of those brave men who fought so valiantly for the freedoms we all enjoy today.
